Court preparation
Requirements depend on your case, court and orders. A located resource is not proof that it is mandatory; unknown means not yet verified, not exempt.
Personal preparation only. Save deliberately on a private device; nothing is filed with a court.
Parenting plan
Under Minn. Stat. §518.1705 a parenting plan is created when both parents request one; otherwise the court usually enters custody/parenting-time orders. A plan must not be required in modifications under §518A.39 where none existed. No official form number is asserted here.

Parent education
When custody or the parenting-time schedule is not agreed, §518.157 requires the court to order at least eight hours of parent education (in person or online). Participation must begin before the initial case-management conference and within 30 days after the first filing, unless otherwise ordered. Good cause may excuse attendance; fee-waiver parties pay no program fee.

Child support paperwork
Minn. Stat. §§518A.34–518A.35 govern guideline support. The Child Support Division calculator generates an estimate and printable worksheets; the court decides the ordered amount.

Common questions
- Are these tools free in Minnesota?
- Yes. Every tool on this page is free with no signup. General tools work in Minnesota, but always check your local court's rules and forms.
- Does CoParent Circle have official Minnesota forms?
- We do not offer a guided official Minnesota form. Verified official resources are separate from general tools; a CPC proposal does not replace documents your court requires.
- Where is the official Minnesota court self-help site?
- We are still verifying the official Minnesota link. Look for your state judiciary's self-help center.
