Who qualifies

One of these is enough.

  • Court fee waiver (civil indigent status)

The clerk's determination of civil indigent status or a court order waiving your fees.

  • Represented by legal aid or a pro bono attorney

A letter on the organization's letterhead confirming they represent you.

  • Public assistance in the last 12 months

A benefits letter for SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, SSDI, TANF or WIC dated within the last 12 months.

  • Referred by a domestic violence advocate

A referral letter from a certified shelter, family justice center or victim advocate.

How it works

  1. 1Choose how you qualify and upload one document — a PDF or a photo from your phone.
  2. 2Your Pro tools start right away for 30 days while we review it.
  3. 3Once approved, your waiver lasts one year. We remind you a month before it ends.
  4. 4If it ends, nothing you saved is deleted or locked. Your records and exports stay yours.

What's included

  • Court-ready exports with page numbers and verification
  • Tone coaching before you send
  • Unlimited messages and calendar events
  • More than one child
  • 5 GB of document storage
  • 60 video-call minutes a month

The waiver is personal. It covers the parent who qualifies; the other parent keeps their own plan. Texting through a dedicated phone number is not included.

For judges, mediators and attorneys

Suggested order language:

The parties shall communicate through CoParent Circle. A party who qualifies for civil indigent status, receives qualifying public assistance, or is represented by legal aid may use CoParent Circle's Fee Waiver Program at no cost to that party. Each other party is responsible for their own subscription.
