How CoParent Circle protects you
Tamper-evident record. Journal entries, message edits, and document uploads are timestamped and audit-logged. If you ever need to show a judge or attorney what happened and when, the record stands on its own.
No surveillance of your private journal. Your private journal is yours alone until you create a disclosure for an attorney. We do not share it with your co-parent and never use your content to train AI.
Block, mute, and pause. You can mute message notifications, restrict what extended family sees, or pause an entire circle while you get help. Your data is preserved either way.
Subpoenas & law-enforcement requests. We only release records when legally compelled. We notify you first unless prohibited by law. See our privacy policy.
Browser-safety tips
- Use private/incognito mode on a shared device. Close all windows when you're done.
- Clear browser history and downloads after sensitive sessions.
- Turn off notifications on the lock screen so previews don't appear.
- Consider a separate email address your co-parent does not know about.
Records, custody, and subpoenas
Custodian of records — CoParent Circle, LLC. Serve legal process on partnerships@thecoparentcircle.com. We respond to properly served subpoenas and records-custodian affidavits.
Retention — Messages are retained for the life of the circle. Sent messages are immutable: they cannot be edited, and any author removal only marks the message as removed for readers — the original record is retained for exports and legal holds.
Legal holds — When an active legal hold is in place, all deletions of content in the circle are blocked until an administrator releases it.
Exports — Date-ranged PDF/CSV exports include a chain-of-custody manifest with a SHA-256 integrity hash and Bates fields for court production.
