Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization (e.g. a law firm), you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Acceptable use

Do not harass, threaten, defame, or harm anyone using the service. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, or contains malware. Do not attempt to access another Circle's data, reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent rate limits. Recording calls without the legally required consent in your jurisdiction is your responsibility.

2a. Objectionable content & moderation

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content (harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, violence). You can report any message or user from the ⋯ menu in-app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; abusive accounts are suspended or removed. You may also block any user to stop seeing their messages. By using the service you acknowledge this policy and agree not to post such content.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant CoParent Circle a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, display, and process your content solely as needed to operate the service and provide features you use (e.g., AI tone analysis, court report generation).

4. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; you retain access through the end of the current paid period. Refunds are at our discretion except where required by law. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by those platforms' refund policies.

5. App store distribution

If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to those stores' standard end-user license terms. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms but are not responsible for the app or any claims relating to it.

6. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Professional users

Attorneys, mediators, GALs, and other professionals using the platform must do so consistent with their professional and ethical obligations. CoParent Circle is a software tool — it is not your client of record, does not provide legal advice, and does not substitute for sound legal judgment.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. CoParent Circle is not a law firm. AI-generated suggestions (tone analysis, summaries, reports) are informational only and not legal advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100 if you paid us nothing. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoParent Circle from claims arising out of content you submit, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, except that either party may bring small-claims actions in their local court.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
