Florida Child Support & Deviation Forecaster

Compare guideline mechanics, actual childcare and health payments, and a proposed deviation—without turning discretion into a promise.

Planning estimate under §61.30 and worksheet 12.902(e), not a court determination. Use statutory net income, not gross pay. Credits, deductions, benefits, imputed income and special circumstances still require the complete official worksheet.

1. Guideline inputs

A and B are labels, not predetermined payers. Include only qualifying work/job-search/education childcare and child health expenses not separately ordered by percentage. Enter what each parent actually pays; do not count the same cost twice.

Enter valid nonnegative amounts and whole-number nights. Combined income below $800, more than six children, and special low-income cases require a verified worksheet baseline; no table extrapolation is supplied.

2. Deviation for legal review

The court may vary up to ±5% after considering relevant factors; that is not automatic. More than ±5% requires a written finding explaining why the guideline amount is unjust or inappropriate. The ±50% input limit is this tool's scenario limit, not a legal cap.

Selected factors are discussion notes only; they never increase or decrease the result automatically. Social Security derivative-benefit credits and separate expense orders require further worksheet review.
