Is CoParent Circle really free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and no credit card required, and includes the calendar, messaging, basic expense tracking, and document vault for one Circle. Every new account also gets a 14-day Pro trial. Paid plans add professional access, court-ready reports, and the full audit log — but Free is genuinely useful on its own.
What's the catch?
Free has real limits: 50 messages and 10 calendar events a month, 100 MB of documents on a 30-day retention window, 30 video-call minutes, one child account, solo use only, and no court-ready reports, AI tone coaching, or professional seats. Plenty of co-parents start there. If you need attorney access or court reports, Pro is built for that.
Does the other parent have to pay?
Essentials and Pro are billed per parent, with an optional Pro Household plan at $34.99/month covering both parents in one circle. The Family plan at $39.99/month covers both parents and additional household members under one subscription.
Are the records on the Free plan still court-defensible?
The underlying record is the same on every plan — immutable history and timestamps — but court-ready PDF exports with chain-of-custody are a Pro and above feature. On Free you keep the record; to export it for court you upgrade.
